Turn daily training into usable insight with the Workout Builder

Workouts written in Commit automatically become structured training data. Because sets, volume, and structure are captured as coaches write, training information is ready for review later without extra tagging, cleanup, or manual tracking.

Spot trends and measure progress with Reports & Analytics

Generate interactive reports that show training volume, performance trends, and season patterns across swimmers or groups. Reports update automatically, replacing spreadsheets and giving teams a clearer picture of what’s working and what’s changing over time.

Share clear insight with coaches and leadership

Export-ready reports make it easy to communicate training and performance clearly with assistant coaches, team leaders, or boards. Everyone sees the same data, without manual reconciliation or conflicting spreadsheets.

Keep training aligned with goals using Season Planning

Season Planning keeps high-level goals visible alongside daily training. Coaches can see how workouts, cycles, and performance trends line up with the season plan, making it easier to stay consistent and adjust before issues show up at meets.

What training & reports look like with Commit Swimming

    1

    Organization

Teams centralize workouts, season plans, meet results, and reports in one system. Training data is no longer scattered across notebooks, spreadsheets, or separate tools, making it easy to review past work and understand the full picture at any point in the season.

    2

    Saving Time

Reports are generated automatically from existing data instead of built manually. Coaches and team leaders can review training volume, performance trends, and financial reports in seconds, without exporting files or reconciling spreadsheets after every meet or practice block.

    3

    Collaboration

Coaches, admins, and leadership work from the same data. Training insights, season progress, and reports are visible to the right people, reducing back-and-forth questions and helping staff align on decisions without recreating or re-explaining information.

    4

    Training Quality

With clear visibility into training patterns and performance trends, teams can spot issues earlier and make more informed adjustments. Training decisions are based on what actually happened across the season, not memory or isolated data points.

What teams are saying about Commit Swimming

"Commit has been quite possibly the most important tool we have ever added to our swim program. It was a game changer for us to the point where I cannot imagine our program without it. It creates positive communication among the swimmers and coaches within our program, our swimmers are more prepared for practices, and Commit allows them to contribute more to their training. We are able to do so much more as a program because of Commit!"

"Commit has been the most responsive platform I have used. The interface is intuitive, updates are easy to understand, and when something is not clear, they walk me through it. It is also the only platform that has truly felt automated and has actually reduced my workload. Commit listens, responds, and follows through."

    FAQs

Do we need to be data experts to use Commit's reports?

No. Reports are designed to be readable and practical for coaches and team leaders. You don't need to build formulas or export data just to understand what's happening. The goal is clarity, not complexity.

What kind of data can we see in reports?

Commit provides reports on training data, performance trends, and team activity based on the data already in the system. This includes workout-based training information and results data, presented in a way that's easy to review and export when needed.

    Will this replace our spreadsheets?

For many teams, yes. Commit's Reports & Analytics are built to reduce or eliminate the need for manual spreadsheets by generating insights directly from workouts, season plans, and results.

Can coaches and team leaders both access reports?

Yes. Reports can be used by coaches to evaluate training and by team leaders to support planning, communication, and decision-making. Everyone is working from the same source of truth.

Do reports update automatically as the season goes on?

Yes. As workouts, results, and season data are added, reports reflect that information automatically. There's no need to rebuild reports or re-export data every time something changes.

Can we export reports if we need to share them with a board or staff?

Yes. Reports are export-ready, making it easy to share insights outside of Commit when needed, such as for board meetings or internal reviews.

Is this useful if we already track some data elsewhere?

Often, yes. Teams use Commit to centralize training and performance data that was previously scattered across tools, making it easier to spot trends and have informed conversations.

Does this change how coaches plan or run practices?

No. Commit doesn't tell coaches how to train. It simply makes it easier to review what's been done, understand patterns, and adjust when needed.

What if we're mid-season and don't have historical data in Commit yet?

That's common. Many teams start using reports with the data they generate going forward. Over time, the value increases as more training and performance data accumulates.

Will this add more admin work for coaches or team leaders?

No. Reports are generated from the work you're already doing in Commit. Teams typically spend less time compiling information and more time using it.
